The Deimos Project is started (and still actively developed) by the student Robbie Groenewoudt in the summer of 2007.

Deimos was meant for a less-than-serious website to host all kinds of funny but a bit useful statistics about your computers. It was developed as a hobby-website (with a small application gathering the statistics at the computers) and was maintained like one.

Deimos was also the home base of all kinds of webbased experimentation (mostly cool Javascript effects). Also Robbie was a programmer, not a designer. As a result, Deimos went through a few iterations as can been seen at the right.

However, things got rolling in December 2008. After messing around for over a year, a fresh start was needed and wanted. A lot of documentation were written and the new iteration of the website and application was called "Tando". After 3 months of programming the new website and application was released. The following months were mostly fine-tuning and a lot of incremental improvements. And that brings us to today...
