wireless network?

Hi

I have installed the new Deimos desktop 0.8.09 and am amazed with all the new features it brings! Great work! :)

I just have a quick question... I see on the network section of the interface a "Wireless" item that is static at 0% for me, altough I do have my PC running on a wireless network. I don't even have a wired adapter, only a wireless usb adapter from linksys.

Shouldn't the "Wireless" item show some sort of percentage value for me? (greater than zero)

Indeed, it should.

What's the name of the networkcard-name in the dashboard?

Update:
I just added better detection for wifi-devices in 0.8.10

I hadn't noticed, but now that you ask I see that indeed it doesn't appear anything in the network card, or hard disk.

I'll be looking forward for the new version :)

If it helps for the detection, my USB wireless adapter is a Linksys WUSB54GC (v1.0)

Also I'm noticing now that my network uptime is very low, even though my network connection never fails.

This should be related to the wireless problem, so hopefully all will be fixed in the next release :)

Are you sure? The website is mostly showing 100% network uptime for you.

Oops... didn't check this thread in a while.

Indeed... seems like my uptime on the website is near 100%, which should be correct as I have only minimal down times, but the client has its own values.

I have been checking the client and it seems it starts each day with 100% network uptime on the "today" section, and as the hours go the percentage tends to drop. On the client my "Total" network uptime is at 4%.

Here is a pic of it as it started the day recently. Today's uptime is still at 100% but should start dropping in the next few hours.

I can confirm this. It seems to be a problem with the display of the total network uptime. The today's internet uptime is correct.

I'll be looking into this
